3 /5 Albertina Osborne: Order on a whim tonight. Food was "ok" edible. Not overly tasty. Potatoes in the mixed meat curry seemed odd. Chicken chow mein had about 4 little bits of chicken in. Kung po chicken wasnt very spicy and quite tough chicken. I wouldnt order again.

4 /5 Clive Williams: A nice cosy restaurant, well lit and the single waitress was very friendly. The dishes are a mix of Chinese, Malaysian and Thai, but its not "fusion", each dish is traditional. The presentation of the dishes is good and the food was adequate; I was hoping to find a new taste sensation but nothing special grabbed me. All in all it was a positive experience. One final note, the bill is not itemised. I felt that the final tally was on the high side based on what we ordered. I couldnt confirm at the time but later, using the menu from Google I did my own tally and added 12.5% service; my calculations came up £20 less than the bill presented. My advice is to ask for an itemised bill when you pay.

5 /5 James Johnson: My partner and I were in the area and decided we fancied a Chinese for dinner. We looked up local ones in the area and came across Penang Village and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was lovely, the hospitality was good and attentive. Being the only people dinning in during our meal, I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but that didn’t bother us, as we prefer it quiet. We asked what one of the plants inside the restaurant was and ended up being gifted a rooted cutting. Highly recommend, and wish the owners / staff all the best. Certainly won’t be forgotten and will be back again when revisiting the area.
