5 /5 Kate Black: Bought a smashing sausage roll from Whitstable shed and nice chap said his daughter was up at 5 baking so well done her
5 /5 Lindsey Thorpe: Really lovely sausage rolls! Such a friendly, and generous welcome and local advice given too. Great experience and Polly’s is definitely worth a visit! The ladies from Norfolk
5 /5 Louisa Dawes: Just stopped off and had some samples wow, literally melt in your mouth and Im assuming the lady I spoke to was Polly was so helpful, the pub I had was chicken and the pastry was divine, chicken so so soft ans tasty. Will definitely go back !
Anna Sutton I can’t understand why this place has such a low rating. I ordered a bacon sandwich which was absolutely delicious. Filled with five or six crispy rashers in a good quality bun. Hit the spot and I can’t wait to go back when I return to Whitstable!
Cameron Marks Come to this place on lunch breaks sometimes and it bangs. The lad whipping the pizza is sound and he makes a mean pizza. I get the Hot Dod and I pretty much burn my mouth every time because I can’t wait for it to cool down so I shove it straight in. In the harbour so the scenery is lush, great gaff.
Claire Sargison We went here this afternoon with our small dog and loved it! The atmosphere was lovely, really nice decor, staff were all friendly. We really enjoyed the toasted cinnamon brioche and our coffees, we will definitely go back next time we’re in Whitstable.
Tia Fattal I will start with wow!
Sometimes you stumble across a little diamond in the rough. Drift is that!
I have been blessed with having the chance of eating in some amazing restaurants from the Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons to the Burj Khalifa.
But these places are diamonds that the world can see. The drift is still hidden tucked away in a little sea side town. A little secret where its food does all the shining. A visit is a must, tuck yourself into this family run restaurant, and be prepared for the dishes to wow you. From the oysters to the backed cheesecake everything fresh and handled by the chef with grace and care.
You will love it!
Neil Denny We found a lovely Cafe in Whitstable at the end of the High Street, start of Harbour Street. There was a cosy atmosphere, great coffee and a warm welcoming service. My wife loved the homemade Sunburst apple cake, and my Croque Monsieur hit all the right spots. Next time I am going to try one of the delicious looking Galettes and an authentic Breton Cider……can’t wait!!
