sophia we had the loveliest visit this easter sunday - we ordered two (massive!!) roasts and left stuffed!! the food was delicious and the view was even better!! their garden is huge and full of tables on both levels and the view is just stunning. a real hidden gem just 15mins from oxford, with plenty of circular walks around the local countryside (there is a map outside the pub). a 10/10 pub in a gorgeous small town - can highly recommend! thank you so much to all the team!!

Manuel González D-A ​A very good experience at the Royal Standard in Oxford. ​We had a great dinner with generous and delicious dishes at a very good price. The service was very kind. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. ​If you are in the area, I highly recommend it.

manuel lópez t. Stopped by Duo Chef in Chinnor for a curry and had a very good experience. I asked the waiter for a recommendation and tried one of their dishes. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive and welcoming throughout the meal, which made the whole experience very pleasant. I also had a Cobra beer, which was light and refreshing and paired well with the food. One small note for anyone visiting: some dishes seem adapted to suit UK palates, so if you prefer something more traditional or spicier, it’s worth mentioning it to the staff. They are very accommodating and happy to guide you. Overall a very positive experience and a place I’d happily return to.

Ieuan Jones Fantastic vibe and lovely food. The perfect spot for brunch just when we needed it and had no idea where to go (we’re not from here). Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would come back next time we are here.

Jimmy Food was great, ordered a chicken and rice, and there was plenty of chicken, along with a good amount of sauce, making it very flavourful, overall it was a delicious meal.
