At no time were we rushed or made to feel unwelcome even though we needed to stay to feed the baby. Seriously, not only did Caravan Tech fit me in for pressing work on my motorhome, at very short notice, Ian bussed me the short journey to the Merriments Café. Where we got a very dog-friendly welcome and settled into a log-burner heated snug with leather sofas and chairs. The rising price of coffees is not confined to this place, however. A popular venue which comprises tiled floors, country pine tables and some imaginative use of umbrellas hung from the conservatory-styled roof, to combat heat gain. Decent Wi-Fi helps, too. At the time of writing the early stages of the project plan to move the CT side of the business to this site is evident. My experience of both the café, the sale of equipment and spares and the workshop have been exemplary. Kudos. There is a baked goods display and a kitchen turning out food which seemed to go down just fine. I will happily return

Aja Brandman Authentic Japanese restaurant from the decor to the taste. We really enjoyed our meal and would be happy to go back and try more from their expansive menu. Walked in on a Saturday night without a res, and we were able to get a seat at the bar.

Millionz Beauty I hosted my baby shower at the bistro branas and I wouldn’t change it for the world. The catering services were perfect considering how specific I had been about having halal food options. The service was amazing and the venue provides an amazing atmosphere and space for an event like this. Thankyou to Gregg, Anna & Kerry for making it so special for me.

Mahmuda Ahmed I Visited Riviera in Mayfair on 30/01/26 for my birthday dinner and loved the intimate, cosy atmosphere — perfect for a girly catch-up or date night. I’ve been put off fine dining lately, but the food here didn’t disappoint. We had the cauliflower, calamari and burrata to start, followed by the beef fillet, sea bass and pasta — the beef fillet was the standout. The drinks were the real highlight though. The Paradise Mangue mocktail tasted just like a Solero ice cream and was amazing. Overall, a 9/10 experience and I’ll definitely be back.
