5 /5 Jonathan Hanns: A lovely pub staffed by very considerate people who found it a pleasure to serve us. Julie, who ordered our drinks and brought our food was attentive, pleasant and (above all) happy. Beer was clean and tasty, food was great, price was reasonable. Will be back.

5 /5 Linsey Ellis: We had a lovely Sunday lunch recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. All the staff made us feel very well looked after, especially Julie, our waitress. She took the time to chat with my elderly mother, who had recently, unfortunately dislocated her arm, and made sure she was comfortable at the table. Julie kindly reassured her to call if she needed any assistance, which we truly appreciated. Thank you for such thoughtful service, we will definitely be back.

Just had a Sunday roast - which was excellent. Julie who served us had always been wonderful especially to our little girl and all in all was a wonderful experience

5 /5 Steve Y: We had booked another venue (a different local thatched pub) for a wake, they cancelled 4 days before the funeral. I had chosen the other venue because of some of the negative reviews. I should have chosen the huntsman for the wake in the first place. Abby at the Huntsman saved the day at such short notice, the hot buffet was great. Varied selection including vegan option, ample portions and the drinks are reasonably priced. The real icing on the cake are the staff, attentive without being intrusive. Abby was great, several of our guests commented how nice she was and how good the venue was. After one of our guests got locked out of their car, Abby approached one of the regulars (a vehicle tech) who offered advice. We will be returning to the Huntsman for a meal under happier circumstances in the very near future.
