5 /5 Tommy White: A beautiful country pub - amazing decor and ambiance. Food was unreal, scotch egg with homemade brown sauce and beef short rib were highlights. Very friendly service to top it off.

The portions of the schnitzel were woeful, perhaps a third of normal size, a spoonful of sauerkraut and small potatoes! A touch of greenery would make it even look more appealing! Simple solutions really.

The food was presented beautifully, and generally very well cooked (though bubble and squeak croquettes felt cheap and bland). Asparagus was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend and return. The place felt rustic and yet was clearly well maintained & clean.

5 /5 Sally Lee: We had a wonderful lunch here today. Fantastic staff & delicious food! Everyone was so welcoming, professional & friendly. The liver parfait was fantastic & beautifully presented. The Roasted Cornish Cod & the Home Reared Banger were so comforting on a miserable grey day. We had to have some puddings of course & they did not disappoint. Thank you to the brilliant team. We will definitely be back!

Lorenzo Ali Didn’t eat here unless you count Cheese and Onion Crisps! Had a couple of glasses of Malbec and enjoyed a relaxing time with in interesting pub with a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely fire crackling away and very friendly staff.

Stephanie Paola Ramírez Martínez Delicious food! Im vegetarian and most of the team I’m disappointed with food in pubs..I ate banana blossom as veggie option. My husband the Sunday roast and it was delicious. Surely I’ll come back.

olivia george my partner and i went for valentines and we couldn’t fault the place, the food was amazing and the serving sizes on the tray were made for a feast so go hungry. we had the tray and the meats were amazing, and the sides were so yummy. the price of the overall experience (2 cocktails, 2 starters, the tray) left us thoroughly impressed. it’s definitely a spot for a treat meal. our server also was so kind to let us go and see the smoker after the kitchen had closed and we were one of the last tables. such nice touches around the pub to make the vibe just perfect.
