5 /5 Samuel Good: Had a really nice dinner here the other evening. Food was lovely and came out quickly. Nice relaxed atmosphere as well. Shoutout to Olena who looked after us – she was friendly, attentive and just really easy to chat to. Made the whole experience that much nicer. Would definitely come back.

5 /5 The 28 Handicapper: Ellie served us today. She was absolutely fantastic. Add to that the lovely food on our bottomless brunch. A great birthday celebration was had. The extra touch of a birthday pudding with a birthday message was the icing on the cake!! Nothing too much trouble for Ellie and having been coming here since it opened I would say she is the most attentive waiter/waitress we have had. An asset to the Foresters and Acorn. Great service makes all the difference.

5 /5 Matthew Swift: Lovely rooms perfect for a couple getaway. Staying on business and other amenities only 5-10 mins away. We never know how long were staying but the staff make it so easy to sort out extra nights if needed. The front of house staff go the extra mile to sort out anything. Special thanks to Tracy(manager). So friendly n sorted out any request needed. Another thanks to Ellie(restaurant). Another excellent member of staff absolutely made our mornings for breakfast. Id love to mention other names but unfortunately I dont know them. To you all, thank you

5 /5 Rebecca Jones: My husband and I stay here regularly when visiting family. A lovely small, friendly hotel/pub with a really welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and well equipped with thoughtful touches, food is excellent (including fantastic breakfast) and all the staff (yes every single one) are warm and helpful. A special mention to Ellie who serves us in the morning —so cheerful and attentive. Thanks as always and look forward to staying again soon.
