5 /5 Paul Ripley: Very different experience to the other reviews. We stumbled upon it on a wet afternoon. Staff were super friendly. I had steak which was great and sister had Guinness steak and ale pie. I would definitely recommend if around on Tunbridge Wells. Dog friendly and brought our dog water

5 /5 Charlotte Turner: We visited this morning and were amazed at the warm and cosy welcoming feeling as soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted by James who immediately made us feel comfortable. We took a seat by the fire on leather sofas, and were told the fire would be lit soon which it was. We ordered pastries, coffee & tea which arrived with a smile. The pastries were warm and delicious not to mention huge :) James was lovely and chatty and made us feel so welcome, we also loved the books on the table, such a lovely touch. We will absolutely be returning and planning a trip in a week or two. I would highly recommend

1 /5 Lucy Workman: A good friend and I had a very disappointing brunch that wasnt cheap. Service was slow - I had to ask for some water for the table 4 times (it was a very hot day). I ordered the veggie brunch, which included a vegetable pattie along with other standard breakfast fare. I was surprised to receive a highly processed veg burger that had come straight out of a packet in the freezer and was inedible - instead of something homemade. I shared how disappointed I was only for the waitress to respond with "oh, we must be having a bad day", which annoyed me further. I eat along the Pantiles regularly and wont be returning.

1 /5 Rosie Lloyd: Wed endorse the one star! Waited to be served. 5pm on a sunny Thursday. Waitress grudgingly appeared. No food only crisps. She was so unwelcoming we went elsewhere.
