Ivan Lovegrove A (late) Sunday lunch for three of us, to include; shared starters of mixed breads and salt & pepper squid. A Pork Belly roast dinner, a Beef roast dinner and a Chicken and Bacon Caesar Salad for our main courses; the roasts with a generous complimentary glass of house wine.
The history (15th century origins), aesthetics, authenticity and wealth of architectural details (both inside and out) are self-evident and certainly unique. The recent understated and classy refurbishment and décor still lets the history andnarrative of the building speak for itself. The team working today were personable, hospitable, attentive, patient and kind. The food was attractive to look at and quite simply delicious
