Paul Forster We had such a great meal here. They’ve been a local Whitstable family run restaurant for over 35 years and it shows. It was quite busy quite early, but the one server handled everything with calm and personality. It never felt rushed or harried. The food was delicious and the atmosphere charming. The one drawback was the phone ringing endlessly as our poor server was there all alone. Would have prefered she shut the ringer off though!

Summer Brown I visited the Seaview Café in Whitstable and had a tuna mayo toastie with chips — absolutely delicious! The toastie was perfectly made, the chips were crisp and tasty, and everything was served piping hot. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, which made the visit even better. And of course, the name says it all — the view over the sea was truly impeccable. Highly recommend for great food, great people, and a beautiful setting!

Sona Sethi Best Thai ever and catered for mum who doesn’t have peanuts and me and who’s gluten intolerant and I would always go back to have their tasty food, they can modify anything and they are super helpful when it comes to wanting more or less chilli - amazing service and just a genuinely lovely place! Larry Annis Quite simply the best fish we have had in a very long time! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. Service was efficient and relaxed in equal measure. The food was outstanding. Incredibly fresh, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The atmosphere captures exactly what you want from Whitstable: informal, coastal, authentic and full of character. We will absolutely be back!

somora rattray My second visit and still my favourite restaurant. A foodies heaven indeed! Each dish beautifully presented and delicious. Great wine list, especially love the local Kent offerings. The staff are very attentive and always friendly. Highly recommend.
