Maria Puolakkainen What a lovely find. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I had the mezze plate, and at ÂŁ12, it was fantastic value for money. So many good flavours, especially the aubergine and falafel were delicious. I also love the social function of the spot, with flexibility and options for payment. Will 100% be coming back. A true community spot, and a far cry from the chain restaurants of Oxford.

Coralie Rassinoux As a French person who grew up by the sea and who has lived in the UK for over 15 years, the cod roast was hands down the best fish I’ve had in the UK. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. The crème anglaise was a delicious success. The atmosphere was lovely and family friendly on a grey January Sunday. Great service from the front house team. Highly recommend!

Zoe Daniel Brilliant pub - lovely staff and the atmosphere was really welcoming. We had dogs and children and they were so helpful with everything without us having to ask. We had lunch and all loved the food. (the duck chips were really tasty) Would definitely go again!

Bangkok House - Oxfordshire

Rating: 4.4 /5
Vadim Belenov Bangkok House is an absolute gem in Oxford. The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of a place that is welcoming, genuine and focused on what really matters: incredible food and a relaxed atmosphere. No gimmicks, no pretence, just proper Thai cooking at its best. Every dish is packed with authentic flavour, perfectly balanced and beautifully cooked you can taste the freshness and passion in every bite. It’s the kind of food that instantly makes you want to come back. Stop wasting time at soulless Thai chain restaurants. If you haven’t tried Bangkok House yet, you are seriously missing out. This is the real deal and one of Oxford’s must-visit spots.
