5 /5 Ali M: One of my favourite places to eat in London. It’s a little restaurant but the team there is always friendly and the food is always amazing! I’ve never left unhappy. They have a lot of interesting options on the menu - would highly recommend if you’re nearby and looking for great Japanese! My personal favourite is Chicken Karaage.

5 /5 H: I’ve been a few times now and my most recent visits have been better than my first. Not sure if the restaurant got a new supplier or chef, but this is now one of the best izakayas in the city. It’s actually owned and run by Japanese people unlike 99% of other Japanese restaurants. Best hot soba in the city, but the Akami sashimi, chicken karaage, and Miso aubergine are also standouts

2 /5 Tom Červenka: I will start with good one and tell u after why I think this is not good Japan restaurant for you. Food was delicious, what I ordered was very delicious. Eel with rice and miso soup. Quick and hot like it should be. That’s it. If you wanna try good Japan food go here and don’t read further it might turn you back. I came for ramen and they don’t do it. Just sobo nudle. Well can’t blame them for that even I don’t know what is more authentic than Ramen in Japan. I was more disappointed with range of nonalcoholic drinks. You can get one from Japan and rest is standart Coca Cola Fanta etc. [ my partner also found small fly in her plumb wine ] We came and they have bell with note wait here to be seated. So we did and nothing happened. Guy from bar look at us same as chef feom kitchen like what’s happening. I started to speak Japanese and staff switched to English so with my disappointment I followed even I tought I could practice my language. As we got our food I noticed there is no karafa with water served. ( standard in Japan restaurant ) no place for handbag ( standard in Japan restaurant ) even we ordered soup we got main dish before soup ( that’s most authentic i experienced in restaurant cuz its same in Japan. ) also we got one dish and later one came second one. Shouldn’t be served together for both people at same time so they don’t have to wait for each other? Later on we manage to speak bit Japanese so I was happy to see its not just Asian people born in England. With already expensive bill came service charge 12.5% ( tabu in Japan ) that just prove me this restaurant is serving Japan food with typical England culture. Nothing from that I experienced in Japan couple months ago and that’s sad for me. I wanted feel again what they do so good in Japan but they rather switch to EU standard and all that Japan magic is gone. Sad
