5 /5 seth bradley: A wonderful look into the past and the ingenuity of James Watts beam engine. I was lucky to be shown around by one of the volunteers. After My recent visit to crossness Ive become inspired to visit as many beam engines as possible. The Museum here is free and located right in the middle of Markfield park. Theres a cafe right next door as well. Worth planning your visit on a steam day so that you can see the beam engine in action

5 /5 Lee Jacques: Attend if you can on a "Steaming" day and experience stepping back into a magical age of steam and expierience Victorian engineering at it best. Whats more its Free! Nice little coffee shop next door too.

5 /5 CitizenOfTheWorld: The visit to the museum proved to be one of those nice surprises while exploring London. The shall museum has plenty of information panels explaining the history of the sewage pump station. The machinery was kept in perfect conditions and the book about Tottenham Sewage Works and the Wood Bros. Beam Engine was a nice way to contribute to the conservation of the museum while enjoying the reading. Above all, what made this visit so special was the dedication and knowledge of the volunteers in the museum that day. We were shown the machinery, explained how it works and told how to get involved, should we were interested. Its a small museum worth visiting, especially those days when it gets the machinery working
