5 /5 CitizenOfTheWorld: The visit to the museum proved to be one of those nice surprises while exploring London. The shall museum has plenty of information panels explaining the history of the sewage pump station. The machinery was kept in perfect conditions and the book about Tottenham Sewage Works and the Wood Bros. Beam Engine was a nice way to contribute to the conservation of the museum while enjoying the reading.
Above all, what made this visit so special was the dedication and knowledge of the volunteers in the museum that day. We were shown the machinery, explained how it works and told how to get involved, should we were interested.
Its a small museum worth visiting, especially those days when it gets the machinery working
