5 /5 Hyena: Run by this warm and friendly couple in the Market place at the St. Georges mall. The food quality was great, fresh and flavourful. I tried the Greek gyro platter and was just as I was expecting. The chicken was well grilled, the pita soft and warm, the salad fresh and the sauce with the right zing. The woman serving was kind enough to offer us an extra pita without any charge as well. We had a good chat and I really appreciate their customer service. The Market place is a vibrant plaza with many outlets offering cuisines from worldwide. It’s great to catch lunch on a hot sunny day as the place is airconditioned with charging provisions. We are definitely visiting them again on our next visit.

Tucked inside the vibrant Market Place Food Hall on St Ann’s Road, this gem offers authentic Greek cuisine that’s both hearty and bursting with flavour. I opted for the chicken gyros wrap, which came generously stuffed with tender, well-marinated meat, fresh tomatoes, onions, and a sprinkle of paprika, all wrapped in their signature handmade Greek pita bread. The Original Souvlaki sauce—a blend of mustard, honey, mayo, and a secret ingredient—was an absolute game-changer, adding a creamy, tangy kick that elevated the dish. The portion was substantial, and the accompanying fries were perfectly crispy with a dusting of oregano. I also tried the Greek salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and topped with a generous slab of authentic feta cheese. The atmosphere at Market Place is lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff at Original Souvlaki were friendly and attentive, ensuring my order was spot-on, even accommodating a small request to tweak the sauce. It’s clear they take pride in using high-quality ingredients, many sourced directly from Greece, which shines through in the authenticity of the flavours. My only slight critique would be that the seating in the food hall can get a bit busy during peak times, but that’s a minor quibble given the quality of the food. At around £10 for a wrap with fries, it’s excellent value for money, especially considering the portion sizes. I’ll definitely be back to try the halloumi wrap and perhaps some dolmades next time. If you’re in Harrow-on-the-Hill and craving a proper Greek souvlaki, Original Souvlaki is the place to visit.

5 /5 Ryk Dunn: I ordered my favorite Chicken Gyro for lunch today and what a surprise when I opened it. They sent me an Ekme for dessert with a ❤️ and says enjoy written on the box. Of course I need to double check if this was a mistake as I did not order any. I was thinking they might have sent the wrong one. However, after checking my receipt it is correct but at the end part it says "REPEAT CUSTOMER" (2-4 orders). Checked my delivery app and noticed I ordered 3 times the previous month. Can this be the reason? I dont know. What I know is that I love your food- always fresh, tasty and flavourful, packed nicely and good value for money. It is my go to Greek food after having tried a few around London. Thank you Original Souvlaki.
