5 /5 Andrew Thain: High quality North Indian food. Well prepared and very tasty. Good selection of dishes as well as the usuals. Friendly staff. Furnishings and decor are more upmarket than most local Indian restaurants. Only thing to improve would be to add table hotplates (eg the thick metal ones that almost every Indian restaurant had) to keep the food warm in the serving dishes as ours was certainly going cool as we ate the meal.

5 /5 Al Amin: I had such a wonderful experience dining at this authentic Indian restaurant. The Peshwari Lamb Chops were beautifully tender and full of flavour, the Tandoori Chicken had a perfect smoky taste, and the Chicken Malai Tikka was creamy and soft — absolutely delicious! Each dish was freshly made and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. I genuinely enjoyed every bite and will definitely be coming back again soon.

5 /5 Richard Ince: I’ve lived in Petts Wood for 50 years. Curry restaurants come and go but I have to say Calcutta is up there with the best. Ronnie was very attentive and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. The menu has the usual dishes but the signature dishes are fantastic. A nice variation on tradition. Thoroughly recommend

5 /5 peter copleston: The restaurant is excellent value for money, the staff are very attentive and polite. The food is very tasty and delicious with just the correct amount of spices. The service is second to none everybody is so attentive. I would highly recommend this place. The music is contemporary and at the right volume so you can still enjoy a good conversation with your guests that you are having a great meal with.
