5 /5 Erel Gerger: I had a sandwich and my wife had belgian waffle, it was the best sandwich I had in the U.K, and belgian waffle was perfect as well, Girls were too kind and place is dog friendly. If you are looking to spend time in a cozy Cafe, you must go to this place, hope they can open a place in London too.

5 /5 Joyce Tsang: Took my dog for a brunch date and the staffs were super nice and friendly. Coffee is one of the best I had around Kent. I ordered a Brie, Bacon and Cranberry sauce panini. It came with a salad, the bread is soft and overall it’s a good portion. Will definitely be one of my go-to whenever visiting Canterbury.

5 /5 Pan Yaso: Lovely cafe , friendly services nice decorations . Tasty matcha latte various cake providing many space to sit in and enjoy coffee time . Toilet provided no socket to charge electronics devices

5 /5 Rog Edwards: Very busy cafe with a quirky decor and a small outdoor area. A nice lunch menu has well designed dishes with some classics as well. Good fresh ingredients (although I would have like a bit more goats cheese). Toilet is a bit of an adventure to get to!

1 /5 D.: I visited Wilding in Canterbury on 19th September 2025. I wanted to grab something sweet on the go, and the interior caught my eye so I took a quick photo before checking the food options. A waitress immediately stopped me, spent several minutes questioning me, and said I was “bothering customers” and that “people don’t like their pictures being taken while they’re eating.” The place was completely empty, yet she rudely added, “This is a restaurant, not a museum,” and even claimed she was in the photo, which she wasn’t. The food looked overpriced and not fresh, so I left. Rude, unwelcoming, a waste of time, and a very disappointing experience. Update. I find it very interesting that instead of working on improving staff’s attitude towards customers, the owner is talking back to people in the reviews. I encourage everyone to read the lowest rating reviews to understand the lack of professionalism of both the workers and cafe owner. Point in the photo a reflection of single human being. There is none. And if this is the case explain why other customers uploaded their own photos of the cafe and i am not talking about the food. And if the answer the customers’s photos are approved for marketing then the 5 star rating falls into question. Moreover, i think it is also important to address the fact that the food looked stale which is another reason this cafe got a bad review. Talking back at people in the review section is not aiding the cafe’s image nor the owner reputation. Both the owner and the workers would highly benefit from training courses on proper hospitality etiquette.
