What Clients Are Saying Frankie’s @ the beach (GG)
5 /5 Xen Xenophontes: Really great place to spend your day at the beach. Frankie and his team are great! Maggie and Kevin are super friendly. The team cant do enough for you. The food and drink is good value and really tasty! Fantastic ice cream selection. Mr Whippy sundaes, waffles and flavours galore!!! I also think I had the best hot dog Ive ever had. Bratwurst sausage in a brioche bun. Nom!
Frankie also has a selection of fair rides to keep the kids occupied and he also rents out, umbrellas, wind shields and loungers!
5 /5 Amina K: Great customer service from Frankie and his team. Didnt have the food as we bought a picnic basket from home. Hired the deck chairs and bought drinks. Would defo go again, very conveniently located too.
5 /5 ThermalSun: Early bike ride out to Ramsgate. Stopped here for a coffee and bacon sandwich. Friendly and quick service. Sat in the sun and enjoyed the views for 30mins. Recommended.
5 /5 S Rahman: Always lovely to get some quality ice cream after a nice day in the beach! Staff are lovely here and welcome all the customers. It’s right next to the kids playing area too which is handy while the kids are running around or jumping on the trampoline. You can keep the babies calm with an ice cream!
Mpowerm3 This place was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. The steak was spot on, the chips were great, and overall, it was a good experience.
JC Friend recommended this place when we spoke about the best fish & chips to try in Whitstable. Glad to say I wasn’t disappointed at all. Great portion and amazingly fresh taste. The batter was light and chips were cooked perfectly. Seemed like it was a local spot since a lot of people came in after us and you could hear a lot of friendly chatter with the owner.
Edward Katia “Katie” I was invited there for dinner by my daughter, and we went together. From the outside the location isn’t particularly striking, but once you step inside it’s a completely different world. You enter through a narrow little passage and a small door, only to discover a spacious and beautiful interior — a wine bar, great food, a lovely atmosphere, excellent service, and friendly staff. I enjoyed the place immensely.
Virginia Huffman We had a lovely dinner at The Pem. The decor is beautiful and the music fit the ambiance very well. The food was excellent throughout. The amuse-bouches were thoughtful and delicious, and the quail and scallop starters were both inventive and savory. The highlight for us was the beef dish — perfectly cooked with outstanding sides, easily one of the best beef dishes we’ve had at a fine restaurant. It was one of our favorite meals during our three weeks in Europe.
Service was mixed at the start, as we were seated in a central area but not initially attended to. However, when Maciej, the manager, stepped in after we asked about having a drink with our amuse-bouche, the experience improved significantly and became seamless. The sommelier was also excellent and very helpful.
S A Came here for the first time with my family for take away. Very lovely service and good recommendations, we got the XL chicken box, 5 BBQ wings, combo box and single and double cheeseburger and chicken sharwarma.
All were very good no complaints will definitely come again.
Andrew Reeves-Hall Delicious food served by friendly attentive helpful staff in a splendidly designed railway arch space all for a fair price.
The entrance is through a garden of large potted plants that is ever so welcoming in this central London venue.
Easy walking distance from Thames, tube and Waterloo station.
Recommended.
