2 /5 David Graver: The food as always was top stuff. Really nice with big flavours. The service on this occasion - shocking. The table and chairs we were allocated were not for dining and we were made to feel that it was these or nothing else. Eating a roast in these chairs is simply not on. When we voiced our dissatisfaction to the staff, the first lady at the front said there’s nothing we can do. When we spoke to the manager, she eventually changed the chairs but not before giving us attitude and specifically telling me other customers did not have a problem with it with sitting here. Left a really bad taste given we had already paid £30 for the booking. The live football being on was a nice touch although no volume. Really nice food but I can’t say I’ll be rushing back here any time soon.

5 /5 Dylan Newman: First time having a Caribbean roast and definitely will not be the last!! I had the Lamb which was soo tender and full of flavour, the Chef needs a pay rise!! The whole meal was great!! Mac & Cheese was amazing too!! Staff where very friendly, highly recommended and I will definitely be back

5 /5 Ekemezuma Chuck “Groovz”: Just when I thought that I had dined out for the last time a couple of years ago, having sampled almost every cuisine available in the UK (over 40yrs), I get invited by a very good friend from school days to meet another school friend to have a most incredible dining experiences at The Mount pub (30 Chingford Mount Road, London E4 9AB) a couple of weeks ago. The food was absolutely delicious, tender and moist. Every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I had the Chick Pea Curry starter, followed by Jerk Sea Bass & Macaroni Cheese side. Our server was pleasantly jolly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable with the menu. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. I cant wait to come back and try more items from the menu. Definitely a new favorite spot!
