renu karnani It was my birthday! Had a lovely time. Food was good. Best part is the service, the staff members were so lovely, smiling made us feel so comfortable. The decor was so beautiful! I would recommend to visit this place as this is the authentic " Indian Restaurant ", unlike others who only claims to be Indian restaurant!

Seriously, not only did Caravan Tech fit me in for pressing work on my motorhome, at very short notice, Ian bussed me the short journey to the Merriments Café. Where we got a very dog-friendly welcome and settled into a log-burner heated snug with leather sofas and chairs. The rising price of coffees is not confined to this place, however. A popular venue which comprises tiled floors, country pine tables and some imaginative use of umbrellas hung from the conservatory-styled roof, to combat heat gain. Decent Wi-Fi helps, too. At the time of writing the early stages of the project plan to move the CT side of the business to this site is evident. My experience of both the café, the sale of equipment and spares and the workshop have been exemplary. Kudos. There is a baked goods display and a kitchen turning out food which seemed to go down just fine. I will happily return

Adriana Sc. I loved this place! Im surprised it doesnt have a thousand reviews on Google. My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday and found it to be a relaxing, non-hectic spot. hes vegetarian, and Im sensitive to spice, and they were happy to accommodate us with excellent options. The food was high quality, the portions were generous, and I would definitely recommend it!

Didem Gunes Had a lovely meal at the Tamil prince tried abit of everything the starters were amazing, personally this was the highlight to our meal! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were super attentive and welcoming! (My only improvement would be the size of the soft drinks the Coke Zero was the smallest ml and costed £4 it should be clear on the menu as it doesn’t even fill a cup) the food was lovely and super flavourful the paneer curry was amazing with the naan. Would definitely go again!

Andrew Vickers Nice big local cafe. Plenty of choice to eat and all the usual coffees and teas. Pleasant staff, friendly service. Prices are good. Some outdoor pavement seating. Impressed by the laptop policy - great reminder to those who game the cafe scene and sit all day with one cup of coffee...

Pops Great place! Highly recommend! A tad on the pricey side. But you do get what your paying for, great authentic food, good portions and very friendly staff. Its defo a regular for us and we will 1 million percent be back!
