Mark Lovell Booked a table at this lovely bar and restaurant, what a experience. Had a drink in the bar first, great service and lovely atmosphere, then went into the restaurant. We ordered Thai fishcakes and prawn cocktail for starters, really well presented and very tasty, and main course was house burger with fries, and chicken pork pie and side vegetable. Very big portions and very well presented and exceptionally tasty, great service too. 3 drinks ,starters and mains £51 . Great price

MUNTAQIM CHOWDHURY Been here several times and every visit has been excellent. The food is consistently perfect, and the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Always enjoy a good chat, and the place has such a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. One of those spots you keep coming back to. Highly recommended.

Harris Paul “The Hizz” I live next door to Green Posts, so every Monday I come in for steak and ale pie and a soft drink. Monday’s at work are crap and exhausting, so it’s nice to get back from work and have something cooked for me. It’s always a nice, relaxed atmosphere, and service is prompt. The steak and ale pie here is better than anywhere else, they do the large slice instead of a whole pie. So there’s more filling and less pasty, perfect. I hope they never change it and always stick to the slice. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there’s never any trouble here. Plenty of TVs dotted around and various sports to watch. I love how they rearranged it and the pool table now how much more room to play, plus a couple of well illuminated dart boards to play on. It’s the perfect place for a bit of food and sports, even if you’re not having a drink.

Cody An outstanding Taiwanese food restaurant in Portsmouth! Highly recommended beef noodles and Hainan chicken rice, very soft texture with the beef and chicken, you will be amazed with the beef noodle soup with no doubt, definitely will come back again!

Every dish felt thoughtfully made and full of flavour. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. On top of that, the atmosphere is simply amazing — cosy, stylish, and full of charm. The restaurant was also spotlessly clean, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!
