5 /5 Ana Sofia A: As a Costa Rican in London, I have been wanting to visit this place for a while ever since I found out it existed. I had never done the trip as it was quite far from me, but it was infinitely worth it. I loved its place, its authentic wonderful flavors that made me feel at home, and the warm hospitality so characteristic of our culture. The family that runs the restaurant is warm, kind-hearted and were so kind to us. Jeffrey, Don Luis, and Doña Nubia. Everything was amazing, the chifrijo, tortilla de quest, Gallo pinto. They were even better than some of the ones you have back in Costa Rica. This is a wonderful little gem I will be coming back to!!

5 /5 k.s.: Absolutely fantastic food and a very friendly family run business who are very accomodating. My Costa Rican partner was missing his typical home dishes, and we were excited to find Pura Vida Costa Rican Restaurant when we were in the area in July this year. Our visit definitely did not disappoint. The family were very welcoming and the food was delicious, it really did feel like we were transported back to Costa Rica. Jump to today, and the family went out of their way to help my partner get his traditional Christmas Tamal fix as where we live, we are limited to the ingredients we can find. Luis travelled to us to hand deliver the Tamales. The effort and kindness shown to us is something we are very grateful for, and the generous act also feeds into the love and attention put into the cooking of the tasty, authentic and wide ranging dishes on offer. It is definitely a restaurant to visit and experience!

5 /5 Angelina Rosales: The only Costa Rican restaurant in the whole of the UK! A small, family-run business with a big personality — full of warmth, excellent customer service, and delicious, authentic Costa Rican cuisine. It may be a little outside central London, but it’s well worth the journey if you’re craving proper homemade food that brings back the feeling of home. When you’re there, why not try a classic casado, a warm tortilla de queso, or some flavourful gallitos, and finish with a traditional tres leches for dessert?

5 /5 Joss Quinga: This is a wonderful family run restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh, with a homemade taste. I come here often because the quality is always great and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. It is one of the best places in London to experience Costa Rican flavor and culture. You can really feel the love they put into their food and service. I highly recommend this place.

5 /5 Chicade Chicks: We booked a table for Sunday 15th of Feb at 1715. What an absolute gem of a restaurant. I can not remember the last time I went somewhere and had such amazing food! Luis who runs this family restaurant with his wife and sons explained everything on the menu as I wanted something authentic and traditional. What he recommended was absolutely amazing. He didnt just point to the most expensive thing on the menu. Im gutted I couldnt order dessert as the portion sizes were very generous. Ive already said I want to come back here for my birthday. 5/5! The decor, customer service from Luis, the music playing, I cant wait to come back.
