1 /5 Lesley Haxworth: Went to the pub to watch the Rugby. Disappointed that we weren’t welcomed by the locals, who had sat at a high table right in front of the screen leaving only low chairs at the back of the room. No ability to see the screen standing or sitting. So we left… we were asked why we were leaving and explained that we couldn’t see the screen. Not one person I. The room made an effort to enable us to stay and watch the match. A real shame.

1 /5 jasmine sully: Location beautiful - food and service absolutely awful. The waiter was so rude to us and acted as if we were a pain. He never brought our drinks and then when I politely enquired he acted as if we never ordered them. Then the food came and that was wrong - we just felt uncomfortable and the Sunday roast was not nice at all. 60 quid nobody ate and they were rude - very disappointing Fathers Day

4 /5 Zoe Sharratt: Booked for 1 night whilst visiting family in Oxford. Cant fault the room or pub itself - room was spotless and perfect for what we needed. The food in the pub was lovely, good portions and generally locally sourced. The only thing that lets it down is the organisation. We were not told that there was an 18th birthday party being hosted that night. If we had been told then we wouldnt have stayed there. Trying to put a 2 year old to bed whilst just hearing the beat of the bass in the music was a nightmare. Thankfully she eventually fell asleep out of sheer exhaustion. We booked breakfast for 8.30 the next morning, but upon arrival were told that they were expecting us at 9. Then thought that we were staying for 2 nights, not 1. The staff were all lovely, and were very gracious to give us a full refund, which we did not ask for but were very grateful.
