A Toca Restaurant - (Near Lambeth, South East)

5 /5 Adrienne G: A Toca had an extensive menu showcasing the vast Portuguese dishes. We were met with a friendly waiter and ordered a few dishes that all came out very filling. The seafood rice was rich in flavour, the umami from the mussels and prawns came through. What was a standout with this dish was the serving portion for the price point and the amount of seafood you actually get. The grilled octopus was nicely charred and cooked well, not too chewy. The pork and clams dish was an unexpected star of the dish. Not familiar with this combo, it surprisingly melded nicely together. It was seasoned well and the potatoes with the dish still had a nice crunch to it despite it soaking up the delicious sauce. Would come back here again!

5 /5 C B: Absolutely lovely restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and great food. Special thanks to Mr. Nelson, Ms. Carla, and Ms. Claudia, who provided excellent service. I ate "bacalhau cozido com todos," which was fantastic and very tender, and for dessert, I had "arroz doce," which is a typical Portuguese dessert. The house red wine was great as well. 4 /5 Christine Kim: We came for dinner and liked the authentic atmosphere and great value for money. Between the three of us, we shared the grilled prawns "A Toca" style (good), clams in a white wine sauce (lots of empty clam shells though) and the seafood rice (this is for 2 people but its a huge portion with a generous serving of seafood. It could have been slightly more seasoned but it was still nice). Although the service was polite, it was slightly inattentive.

5 /5 Tyler: An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared. Each dish showcased real skill and attention to detail. The service was excellent, warm, efficient, and genuinely hospitable. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Truly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!
