1 /5 Mohamed El-Belihy: Poor Ramadan buffet - poorly organised , unpleasant waiter serving meats like we are beggars . Minimal dessert available on buffet yet inside the dessert counter plenty of desserts. Dessert on buffet were dry and not 100% not fresh! Overall real shame as the food quality is good (not amazing but good). £25 buffet absolute rip off as food portions too small and not restocked when finished…nasty staff member serving meat/rice . If you complain to management the meat guy throws the food on your plate like you owe him something - multiple people in my family had the same complaint (ground 10) ….not been here for years but never again!

The food is consistently amazing—flavorful, authentic, and satisfying every time. Whether its the juicy chicken shawarma, tender lamb mandi, or the delightful fattoush salad, each dish is a testament to their commitment to quality. The generous portions and welcoming atmosphere make it a perfect spot for gatherings. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Its no surprise that I keep coming back—Abu Zaad never disappoints.

2 /5 Emrul Islam: Booked the Iftar buffet for 6 adults and 3 children after seeing reviews on social media. Lets start with the positives: The food was nice - salads were fresh and there were some lovely grilled lamb and chicken dishes with a decent pilao rice. This is good homely food even if nothing particularly exciting. The price was more than reasonable too, making it hard to really complain about anything by London standards. And the lady that was clearing the tables and bringing out soups was lovely and helpful - even if visibly overworked. The first big let down was when I asked for nut-free options for a young diner with an allergy. Wed have been happy with a plate of fries or plain rice but no, the gentleman with management written on his shirt said nothing is nut-free here, even the water has nuts. This lack of allergy awareness and absolute indifference is shocking and I note, unlawful. The 2nd big let down was the place advertised a prayer space on account of it being an IFTAR buffet. It turned out to be so tiny that only ONE PERSON could pray at a time. That is shocking really given the number of people there and entirely unnecessary - they had the space to allocate a bigger prayer area but they didnt. The 3rd big let down was the entire disorganisation. They brought lentil soup starters to our table but provided no spoons or other cutlery. Most settings like this theyd leave those out on the table but here we had to go wrestle through the crowd of people squeezing into the tiny buffet space just to get a few spoons. To continue on this, it took over an hour for us to be able to get our mains. The whole place was set so everyone was too cramped and the layout was poor for a buffet. Would I go again? No, I felt embarrassed to bring family here and very disappointed in the social media bodies that even promoted this.
