5 /5 Sophie Hampton: Amazing menu full of options for all tastes, and veggie and vegan too. Decent priced, the waitress that was on managed to juggle the whole restaurant on her own due to staff absence, she was amazing! Super woman, great atmosphere and vibes, went for a family meal and they were so accommodating with my young niece too. :)

5 /5 Tony Wilson: Went to Ansar on Valentines night. We were made welcome on arrival even though we hadnt booked. The menu had a good variety of food. We thoroughly enjoyed our starters and main course and will definitely go back. Reasonable prices and great service.

3 /5 Kat Sackett: We had a meal here on Saturday as a family of four. It was a busy evening and unfortunately the service did not quite match the quality of the food. I worked as a waitress for around eight years in fully booked restaurants where service still ran smoothly, so I do appreciate how challenging busy shifts can be. After finishing our meal we waited about 15 minutes for the dessert menu, and once we had decided what we wanted, we then waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Unfortunately nobody came, so we decided to skip dessert and ask for the bill instead. When the owner became aware of the situation they were very apologetic and kindly offered us ice cream as a gesture, which we appreciated. The food itself was good, but dining out is about the overall experience as well as the food, and the long wait for dessert did take away from the evening. It could have been a much better experience, which is a shame as the food was enjoyable.
