Aviator Sports Bar & Restaurant - (Near Hillingdon, South East)

4 /5 Bailey: Stopped at Thistle for a night before our flight early the next day, and so we went for food in the Aviator Restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. Food came out piping hot, and service was good albeit a little slow waiting for our mains. Struggled to hear some of the waiters over the noise in the room (music mainly), but this didn’t affect our visit. Topped off by a table next to the window, so we could see the planes taking off while enjoying our meal.

4 /5 Martyn Loukes: It’s an airport hotel restaurant at The Thistle, and the food was perfectly fine. In terms of value I’ve had much worse for much more expensive. The veggie bites with blue cheese were divine. Very pleasantly surprised and makes this airport hotel my no1 favourite for value.

5 /5 Eva Fern: Was an absolute wonderful experience here, to being greeted straightaway, to having such delicious food, one of the best burgers imo!! Tasty and came out super quick! Couldn’t recommend this place more as they have tons of options for food

5 /5 Pebbles F.: Aviator has always been our go-to spot for a couple of drinks before heading back home after vacation. We dont order food, so I can not comment here, but the gentleman behind the counter is very nice & definitely good for conversation. Easy spot to just relax before a flight watching the planes land/take off.

3 /5 Simon Collier: Its ok. The best feature is the bar outdoor area overlooking the runway. The food is adequate but not outstanding. Service is ok and prices typical for the area.
