Beak Brewery - (Near East Sussex, South East)

5 /5 Jake Scrivener: Waited a long time to visit Beak and it was well worth the wait, great atmosphere, superb and friendly staff (we arrived an hour early and they still served us and were so accommodating) and needless to say the beers were brilliant. Won’t hesitate to come back.

5 /5 Sarah Bowie: Where do I begin? My partner and I had the absolute privilege of having our wedding party at Beak in September 2025. From the very beginning, Will has been an absolute dream to communicate with. He thought of every single detail imaginable, and truly made the planning process so easy and enjoyable. On the day, Will and the lovely team were absolutely incredible. From helping with decorations first thing, to clearing up at the end of the night- the whole team were truly outstanding.The beers, wine and cocktails were all delicious (of course!). The layout and organisation of the food truck, DJ, dancefloor, prosecco table etc were absolutely spot on, which honestly made our day perfect. We are so grateful to you Will, and the rest of the team at Beak. Thank you for making our day so perfect- having our wedding day at your amazing taproom seriously is a dream come true. 5 /5 Louise Fisher: No where better on a sunny afternoon! Great selection of beers, friendly service and great food trucks/pop ups. A couple of brews in the sun with some live music and view of the cliffs is the perfect place to hang out for a few hours!

4 /5 Matt Clarkson: A good microbrewery with a great range of beers. Glad I stopped in for a visit. Didnt try the food, so cant comment on that. Strands 2 was the pick of the bunch for me; truly excellent. Not so big a fan of the Impy collaboration with Cloudwater. Normally like them, but a little sweet for me. Decent prices and pleased to see it was possible to order by the third.

5 /5 Lana Svitankova: I just love Beak. The beers are top-notch, never disappointed. The taproom itself is in one of the most unique places you can drink beer at, facing the white cliff under the perfect blue sky. Finished my Lewes beer mile here (pick up your card at any of four stops) and couldnt be more happy. Will be back next year for These Hills again (fingers crossed it will happen) and just thinking the area in front of the taproom could be used for the festival as well, sheltered by the cliff and with enough prepwork.
