1 /5 anthony dameon: Positive:
Décor: the seating area is aesthetically pleasing.
Negative:
Food: for a restaurant that has an open grill on display as you walk in the food lacked flavour. The food is brought out from a secondary kitchen the back. Be mindful of what you order as apparently food are strangely itemised. For example £6 for samosa’s we received 10 so they originally changed £60 for SAMOSA’s.
Portion size: (See attached photo) we ordered platters that apparently was meant to serve 3. I draw you attention to the size of the plantain compared to the rice or meats.
Wait time: On arrival the restaurant was not particularly busy and most guest arrived at the same time and food was ordered. I can understand a busy restaurant on a Friday and our food being freshly prepared on the grill but this was not the case. We waited 90 minutes for our food.
Price: (see attached photo)
Drink are very expensive, if you still decide to come, go to the corner shop they sell African Fanta for ÂŁ1.50, and standard prices for Diet Coke and ginger beer.
If you want an alcoholic drink, there is a nice bar next door where you can get a few drinks for the price of one of this restaurants Piña colada (Yes that’s what we did). The time the food took, you can have a few round and come back.
Even though we ordered they still charged each guest ÂŁ25 individually (on the bill this is shown as misc food) had no idea of what we actually paid for
Final bill: £522, believe me we didn’t eat that much.
Atmosphere: Have a night out with friends and family and it will be great but the restaurant is so loud you will not be able to hear the person next to you.
Toilets: Let’s just say they were not clean.
Recommendation: Find somewhere else to go.
