Boithok Restaurant - (Near Lewisham, South East)

5 /5 Jahidul Islam: Boithok is a must-visit if you’re in the Upton Park food court. The chicken momos were excellent, and the fuchka was amazing. Unfortunately, their most popular dish—duck bhuna with chaler ruti—was sold out, but that just gives us a reason to come back. Don’t forget to grab a cup of their great tea from the yard before leaving. A very warm and welcoming place where you instantly feel at home.

5 /5 Jacek Kaczyński: You MUST pop in here, the food and soft drinks are really outstanding and low-priced. If you dont know what to have, trust Baithok chefs recomendations - everything he served us was stunning, so tase as much as your stomach can hold. Try also their special tea, fresh juices (espacially watermelon) and Smoothies. You wont be disaapointed, I swear. Come here and enjoy its great cuisine!

3 /5 Kam Islam: We visited for dinner on a rainy evening, with limited indoor seating. The Tehari was authentic and full of flavour, and the chicken momos were well-spiced and perfectly steamed. Unfortunately, the dahi puri was bland. There were also issues with seating: we were asked to move when more customers arrived. A neighbouring table raised a food hygiene complaint, and while their food was replaced, the owner’s response was unprofessional. Overall, the food had its highlights, but service and customer handling could be improved.

5 /5 islam tauhid: One of the best restaurants in Upton Park. Cheap price but the food hits different. Their kolija muri is fire, soft kolija with the right amount of spice mixed with warm muri, proper deshi street taste. Duck meat roti is something you won’t find everywhere, rich and gives a nice homely feel. And the doi fuchkha, crispy with that tangy sweet mix, just perfect. The place isn’t fancy but the flavour does all the talking. Worth it every time.
