5 /5 sid.tweety: I had a dinner at Butt Karahi last night with bunch of my friends. Everything was superb from food to their atmosphere and their service amazing. Food actually had a authentic taste. Chapli kabab was so juicy, meat Karahi was so tender, their pulao with lamb shank, mint lemonade, green chutney, malai tikka they all are top class. Obviously you have to be patient they make fresh and it took them half an hour to make. But it was amazing food. All were just £65. Very reasonable price.They served complementary tea(kehwa). Irsha was so nice she gave us some sweets for free to take home which we really liked. I hope that was her name. She was the manager I guess.

4 /5 Saj Ahmed: The restaurant was quiet upon arrival with only one couple on the premises. The decor was nice and relaxing. The salad was nicely presented and looked as though considerable time went into preparing it unlike at some other of the big restaurants on Ilford Lane who shall not be named. The restaurant slowly filled up as we waited for our food. The food arrived within the stated time of 30 minutes. We ordered lamb karahi, desi murghi karahi, chapli kebab and a mixed grill. The karahis were seasoned ok however lacked in the heat department that separates Pakistani cuisine from the rest of the world. 3/5 The chapli kebab was nice and together with the chutney and nan made a great dish. 4/5 The mixed grill was not only piping hot as it should be but was great in taste also. Mouthwatering 5/5. For drinks we tried the lemon soda which true to its origins had the unmistakable tang of the lemon and hint of black salt. Not quite to my liking but the pak born in our group loved it! 4/5 All in all a great night out. Will definitely recommend. P.s maybe offer a heat level when taking orders. Otherwise keep up the great work.

1 /5 Haika Hussain: The worst experience & embarrassment we had to face as a family of 16 we came for iftar starting off with one person dealing with everything in ramadan specially when its the busiest time ever . We were not even given a date (khajoor) even to open our fast we had to get our own box from a shop then the order was placed wrong which came after 1 hour & 15 min after the fast opened. Every 5 min they told us food will come which didn’t finally when it was ready we had to go and collect the food ourselves from the counter and put on table and serve our guests. After telling the chef’s they didn’t even apologise once & acted like it was normal. We can understand its busy times but at least keep more staff who actually know what they are doing.
