Café YOLK - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Lilian Annis: I heard cafe yolk was a popular student cafe that I had to try at some point during uni and it was worth it. Although there was a line outside of the cafe, we were seated fast and had a few options on where to sit. The menu had a lot of option and the service was friendly and fast. The food was very flavourful, however, the matcha was quite bland so I would try other drinks- the mocha looked lovely and it had writing in the foam. I would definitely come here again (the herby potatoes were sooo yum!).

5 /5 Jellyly: This was my third visit to Cafe Yolk, and I am amazed every time. The ambiance is always cozy and vibrant. Its not a huge cafe, but the vibe is great—a lovely place for meeting friends or just chilling for a relaxing morning. As vegetarians, we were happy to see many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. We ordered the French Toast with mixed berries and vanilla yogurt, the Avocado on Sourdough, plus a Chai Latte, Cappuccino, and Flat White. The French Toast was wonderful—easily one of the best Ive had in the UK. The mixed berries were fresh and juicy, and the rich, creamy vanilla yogurt really enriched the flavor. The bread itself was fluffy and fully immersed in the egg batter. The Avocado on Sourdough was also flavorful. We chose the vegan option, which came with a generous portion of scrambled tofu and avocado salsa. The bread was crunchy and elevated by the rich toppings. The drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. The Chai Latte is always my favorite here. All in all, the food, atmosphere, and staff are lovely. I highly recommend this cafe for breakfast and brunch!

5 /5 Emily Evans: A brilliantly managed establishment, i’ve been to café YOLK several times and it has always been excellent. They are very consistent and the price of the food reflects the amazing quality. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are always very friendly, welcoming and attentive. I’d highly recommend coming here for breakfast or a brunch and the new menu is very exciting.
