Chaska Maska - (Near Lewisham, South East)

1 /5 Kirsty Gill: Was a nice small place to eat but what we had ordered wasn’t what I expected. Bombay potatoes had no sauce, they were new potatoes in small pieces with seasoning coated on top. They were very dry . The biriyani was not what I have had from an Indian restaurant before. Plus there was only one person seating and taking peoples orders.

5 /5 REG: Delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly service at Chaska Maska. Between us we had the lamb curry, a paneer thing, the poppadom, rices, and a naan bread. Poppadoms were served slightly different to expected but still very nice - they appeared to have been deep fried, an interesting style. The lamb curry was lightly spiced with tender and tasty meat. I had a Thums up Indian style cola which was tasty and a bit different. Would definitely return, three of us ate well here for around £55, a rarity these days!

5 /5 Gulshan kumar sinha: We went out around 10 o’clock in the evening looking for Indian food in the area, and luckily this place was open. The food was much better than we expected. We tried momos, chicken biryani and lamb biryani, all full of authentic Indian flavours, along with an Indian-flavoured beer. Everything was delicious. Thank you for making our evening truly memorable. Compliments to the chef!

1 /5 Dan Yaroo: I’ve spent £45 on takeaway to wait over an hour I ordered Tandoori Chicken curry, which was tasted like tomato soup it came with 4 small pieces of chicken only for £10 and had a a terrible taste Grilled chicken tikka main, not breast cubes it was chewy and gristly some kind of off cut of chicken Sag aloo was awful something you find down the drain 3 dead mini samosas= £4.50 4 flat pancake style mini Onion bhajis =£4.95 The papadums where spicy god knows why as there is no reference to spice in the description Chutneys were like water very bad taste Massala rice and dal was the best thing they sent and the Dal was free because I spent over £20 This is the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had in all of my years don’t know why it’s got 4.8 star rating it’s a joke See the images of uneaten food me and my partner left Absolute dog mess don’t waste your money please believe me I felt like I was in a scene from Indiana jones and temple of doom when I opened the sag aloo poor poor poor
