Peter McCrindle This was, without a doubt, the best meal I had during my six weeks of visiting the UK. The total bill was €171 for three people, including the 10% service charge. This covered 3 starters, 3 mains, 2 desserts, and 4 glasses of wine—excellent value for the quality received. The service was first-class from the moment we arrived. We were immediately greeted and ushered to our pre-booked table. A standout detail was how quickly the water we requested arrived, which really bucked the trend; in the ten or so other restaurants I ate at, we often had to ask numerous times! The food was delicious, and the entire experience was flawless. I will absolutely return on my next visit. (Note: I’ve also uploaded a few photos of the menu, but please visit their website for the most up-to-date options.)

Ernestine Armitage Local Love & Laid-Back Vibes – Arlo & Moe, 340 Brockley Road, SE4 Tucked into the heart of Brockley, Arlo & Moe HG (short for Hilly Fields’ “Hare & Giraffe” location) is a neighbourhood café that’s earned a loyal following for its friendly service, comforting food, and relaxed atmosphere. The vibe is bright and cheerful, with mismatched furniture, local art, and a lived-in charm that makes it feel like a second living room. It’s the kind of place where kids are welcome, dogs are adored, and regulars are greeted by name. The menu is simple but satisfying, with a focus on breakfast, brunch, and light lunch: French toast, often praised as a standout Poached eggs, sourdough toast, and bacon butties Homemade cakes, banana bread, and pastries Great coffee, plus teas, juices, and hot chocolate

Connor Wills probably some of the friendliest workers that have served me at restaurants. they have never messed up my order, the food itself is always warm, and the people themselves always seem to enjoy being there, which just makes it even more tempting to go there over other restaurants I like. when service has been a little slow, even though Im the only order up, they are quick to explain the delay and the wait itself is never more than 10 minutes anyway, unless the restaurant is absolutely packed but you cant even blame the kitchen there. overall, great food, great service, and never disappoints.
