4 /5 Ros McIntyre: Lovely space and a comfortable place to be for a long lunch. Thankfully, no blaring music making conversation a challenge. Friendly and capable staff who were really helpful in answering questions and helping us make choices. Good wine at a sensible price; excellent Negroni; and perfectly cooked piece of chicken to go with the wild garlic risotto. In an ideal world I would have had more ham in the ham croquetas, but they were still perfectly cooked and I ate every molecule! We will come here again.

5 /5 Uliana Bodnariuc: We had our wedding celebration at Dark Horse, and it truly exceeded all expectations. This isn’t just another restaurant in London – it feels like home. From the moment we started planning, the team treated us like old friends, offering a truly personal and individual approach that made everything feel so special. The venue itself is stunning – stylish interior, big windows, and so much natural light. It’s a bright, welcoming space that felt both elegant and relaxed. The outdoor terrace was a huge bonus – our guests loved having a spot to step outside, chill between dancing, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s tucked away from busy roads, which made it feel really private and intimate – perfect for a special occasion. We chose the shared menu, and it was absolutely perfect. There was more than enough food, and every dish was delicious – our guests couldn’t stop raving about it and many said they’d come back just for dinner! A huge thank you to Matt, who managed the evening seamlessly – thanks to him, we were able to relax and just enjoy our party. Nicole and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite – it felt like they were genuinely happy to celebrate with us. And a special thanks to Ian for his excellent communication and flexibility throughout the planning process. We couldn’t recommend Dark Horse more. It’s now our family spot – whether for special occasions, a great dinner, or a cozy Sunday roast, we’ll definitely be back.

5 /5 Swet Lii: Excellent find. Close to Westfield Stratford. Delicious freshly cooked food.. Amazing desserts too. The Filet Mignon was sensational, perfectly cooked. The Chocolate Fondant was heavenly which I opted to have with the honeycomb ice cream, they married well together. Not too busy, good customer service from the staff, we were served by Ryan who was very polite and attentive. Would recommend this place for the steak for sure!

4 /5 Simon Butt: Excellent cocktails and food - steak in particular as sumptuous as ever. Everything cooked well, and always a great variety to taste, and new things to try. However we felt that the sharing / starter plates are starting to look a little mean - a smear of burrata rather than a whole one, and trying to share 3 average prawns between 4 persons. Previously we have been wowed by the overall value of the experience, on this occasion whilst everything ate well we felt the generosity was missing for the sharing plates and side dishes, so only able to give 4 stars

5 /5 Neil Taylor: We booked for Sunday lunch, ordered the chicken and porchetta, which came with beans, carrots, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puds. We both agreed it was one of the best, if not the best, Sunday lunches weve ever had, and IMHO it surpassed my long-time favourite, Hawksmoor. Everything was just so delicious, I tried to choose my "star of the show" and I think it had to be the roast potatoes!! I even surprised myself with that claim! It just shows, simple can be the best...nothing overly fancy, just great ingredients, cooked to perfection. And we finished by sharing pear crumble with honeycomb ice cream - wow, amazing! Service was spot on too.
