5 /5 Matthew Bodycombe: I dropped in here for lunch today for the first time. I had the vegetarian Chana Daal. It was tasty and well cooked and I was given a choice about how hot I wanted the dish. The meal was good value at £13 with a side salad and drink and the chap there gave me a fresh Naan bread for free. There are two guys there. I dealt with the younger one who was very welcoming. Quite a few people eating there from the local Pakistani community which shows the food is authentic and not like your usual Indian restaurant. I’ll go in again for sure.

5 /5 Deepan Vijay: The lamb karahi with rice and naan was rich and delicious, and the condensed milk & rice sweet was a perfect finish. The biryani was excellent — aromatic, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service was kind, polite, and attentive, making the visit very pleasant. A great place for quality food and warm hospitality.

5 /5 Adnan Sher: Dawat Spice’s Tikka Wrap is flavorful and well-seasoned, with tender, juicy tikka chicken in every bite. The wrap is fresh and soft, perfectly holding the filling in place. Crisp vegetables and creamy sauce add a nice balance to the spices. It’s filling, tasty, and great value for money. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy traditional Indian flavours.

1 /5 Lando Sainz: I wish I checked all the bad reviews first before ordering food here. This place has the worst customer service and low quality food at a very high price as follows: I ordered food very recently and the young guy who was supposed to be serving and making the food, strangely walked out the shop. So at this point I dont know how long I am expected to wait around as the food is not even being cooked, what a disgusting service. The server came back with-in a few minuets looking like he did not want to be working in the shop. The food took about 40 minuets to make when it should of been done in 25 mins max (I am being a little generous with the time). When the food is finally ready the server says "Its ready". At this point I dont see the food in a bag as its tucked away under the counter. How are you supposed to know and take the food when the server is keeping the bag tucked under the counter. I had to say "Where is the food then" He then put the bag of food on top of the counter. I wont be coming back to this place ever again for the following reasons: 1. Over priced for the portion they give, 2. The food is not that tasty, 3. Rubbish service, 4. The server even started to cook his own food while delaying making my food. Of course you dont have to take my word for it people, you will see and try for yourself how poor everything is as I described above. Also I notice the shop owners push bad reviews down the list by posting lots of fake good reviews.
