5 /5 Gaurav: Good food, the paneer was very tasty, the naans were fresh and yummy, the prawn pakoras were also tasty and crispy, the dal makhani can definitely be improved, it’s not authentic and very watery. The pakoras can also have more prawns and less batter. The pecan pie and the saffron cake both are very delicious. Very good staff and very good service by Arvind k, nice person with nice guidance on desserts. Was active and kindly asked us about our food and refilled water. Very good staff. Ambience can definitely be improved, very cramped and looks cheap sitting in front of the stairs, can be better looking.

5 /5 Hamza Jugon: This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in London, it was a very pleasant surprise. To start we had the lucknowi lamb chop, a Bari aloo. The lamb chop was cooked to perfection, they left a healthy amount of fat on & the achari potatoes were so moreish, it’s not a particularly common dish and was really good. We also had a big portion of the prawn pakoras. For the mains we got the king prawn curry, which was incredible, I often find prawns in curry to be overcooked but these were bursting with flavours. And the lamb curry was lovely you could really taste the different layers of flavouring throughout. They sent out saffron milk cake on the house as it was a special occasion, which was a nice and unexpected treat. It was definitely on the heavier side for a milk cake and was very thick an and creamy but we enjoyed it. Overall service was on point, the waiter was very attentive, respectful and knew when to approach. The vibe in there was very nice and the unique candles on each table is a nice touch. Romantic setting, make sure to book ahead. 10/10

5 /5 Richard: Had probably one of the most loveliest lunches ever! Empire Empire, is honestly worth the trek coming from East. It was truly one of the best Indian Cuisine experiences I’ve ever had. Myself and my partner skipped out on Breakfast and went all in as much as we could for Lunch (respectfully). We ordered 2 skewers, 100% recommend the Malai Broccoli Tandoori, don’t know what they put in the sauce but it was divine. For main we went with the Lamb Shank Briyani and Empire Butter Chicken! Normally we aren’t huge butter chicken people, but this butter chicken was just amazing. It had the perfect balance of butter, spice and tangy. Chicken was incredible soft and flavourful. Now that Lamb Shank was cooked beautifully, every piece of Lamb so soft and tender, falls off the bone type. You get me? Huge honourable mentions to that Garlic Naan, damn I think it about quite a lot. ✨ We were so full and the lady who was serving us encouraged us onto dessert, but honestly we were so stuffed! However next time will be back for that Saffron Milk Cake! Big up Empire Empire!

5 /5 Alessandra Distefano: The starters were absolutely delicious. The beef skewers were the best. And so was the lobster byriani, super rich and with a fair amount of lobster meat. The naan was also very tasty. The desserts were interesting and unique. Especially the merengue cake with cookies and sweet dumplings. Quick service and friendly staff. Book in advance.

5 /5 Jonatan Martínez: We visited Empire Empire and it exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for Indian food full of flavour, well executed and without inflated prices, this is definitely a place to try. We started with the kale patta chaat, which was outstanding, crispy, fresh and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best chaats I’ve had in London. We also ordered the beef seekh kebab, juicy and well spiced, and the prawn pakoras, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The curries were all excellent. The butter chicken curry was creamy, comforting and packed with flavour, easily rivaling much more famous versions. The king prawns curry was rich and aromatic, and the paneer makhani was a fantastic vegetarian option, smooth, creamy and beautifully balanced. Everything paired perfectly with the paratha, flaky, crispy and ideal for scooping up the sauces. Desserts deserve a special mention. The saffron milk cake was delicious, but the highlight was the gulab jamun cheesecake, original, indulgent and easily one of the best Indian desserts I’ve tried. Great service, a relaxed atmosphere and consistently high quality food. Highly recommended and definitely a place I’d return to.
