Essence Cafe - (Near Kent, South East)

5 /5 Chris Johns: Its the number one cafe in Rochester, the service is good with polite staff and most importantly great fresh tasting hot food at a reasonable price, Its just had a bit of a makeover which has freshened it up making for a nice and clean environment, keep up the good work and see you next week.

5 /5 Daniel: I came here with my baby to grab a quick fry up and breakfast. It’s been a few months since I last came here and it has had a revamp inside. It looks so much better and bigger now. It has changed its name since I last came here and a new chef. Not sure if it’s new owners though but it certainly looks so much better now. The full English I had was great and generous portions. There was lots of high chairs available for my baby which you don’t usually get in cafes. The service was great, really friendly said goodbye and thank you. Will continue to keep using for breakfast with my baby.

5 /5 bertyboy06: Fancied somewhere different for breakfast and I came across Essence Cafe on Google maps and it had a 4.5 rating. Drove over from coxheath and found plenty of parking outside. The staff were really welcoming and super friendly. The food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. The menu had good variety with decent prices. Nice atmosphere and it was clean and tidy. Will definitely visit again. Recommended.

4 /5 Darren: Essence Cafe. A Large premises with around ten tables inside. Outside the premises, two tables are available. The whole place is clean and tidy. Toilets are available, which are very clean indeed and obviously well maintained/cleaned often. The Table I sat at was super frictionless my plate kept spinning while I tried to eat my meal… my napkin placed under my Plate resolved this issue. I ordered a Traditional Breakfast, sadly my Chips were cold, barely warm at all and my Baked beans were completely cold. However the Sausages, Bacon and Eggs were hot and overall my Breakfast was very tasty and enjoyable. I paid Nine pounds for my breakfast, that came with a hot drink and a choice of bread & butter or toast. (Picture below) The Staff inside were friendly and polite. You can pay with cash or card. There’s music playing in the background. Nice and relaxing… A Special mention to the Book shelves filled with Books! A Novel idea… I would have gave Five Stars if all of my Breakfast was hot. Hopefully if I return in the future this issue would not be the case. Definitely a nice, relaxing place to visit and eat at. A tasty value for money meal. Recommended.
