Ferry Cookham - (Near Berkshire, South East)

5 /5 Ben Humphrey: Stopped to check the menu and was pleasantly surprised. 2 of is had the lamb shanks which were perfect and soft. Risotto was enjoyed as well and the chicken pie. Friendly helpful staff and nice spot by the river. Didnt even notice traffic from the bridge.

5 /5 T F: Greta place, dogs only allowed in a very small section. Lovely decor and beautiful spot on the river. Friendly staff and great food. Lunch menu is lacking a little in terms of value for money but tasty nevertheless

5 /5 Burghall Gerri (Gerri): Wonderful dinner tonight at "The Ferry", Cookham. Hubby chose Duck and I had the Rib Eye Steak, it was all delicious, and cooked to perfection. It was piping hot and it was presented really well. Hubby had the Sticky Toffee Pudding with Salted Caramel Sauce and Ice Cream. and I had the Chocolate Tart with Blackcurrant Sorbet which was incredible. Well done to the Chef and all the staff who were astute, professional, efficient and “on the ball”. The restaurant was comfortable and quiet even though it was quite busy. The only slight thing is it was a little chilly in there and I was a little bit cold sitting whilst waiting and eating. The restaurant was very clean and fresh. One thing else that could have made the experience better is that it would be nice to have a paper coaster, to stand our drinks on, as the cold glass made the table very wet and our sleeves were getting damp as we picked up our glasses to drink our drinks. (This is true of all restaurants & Cafés, not just the Ferry and I always add this in my reviews hoping one day a restaurant will take heed) We had a very relaxing, super meal and we will definitely recommend this pub to anyone.

5 /5 Charlie Ackroyd: Had a fantastic meal at The Ferry in Cookham! The crispy calamari was light and delicious, the burger juicy and full of flavour with perfectly crispy fries, and the chocolate brownie with ice cream was the perfect finish. What really stood out was the service — Stacey and Caitlin were so warm, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole experience extra special. A beautiful riverside spot with amazing food and even better hospitality. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Gil Winfield: Had a fantastic lunch today. The location is amazing as was the food and service. I’d highly recommend the pub for drinks and food. They also have have a well stocked wine cellar if you like a tipple. .
