Hanoi Cafe - (Near Tower Hamlets, South East)

5 /5 L Lan: I have been coming to Hanoi Cafe for years - whenever I am in the area, I choose this place every time! I love the family and woman who runs the restaurant, she is wonderful! The food is great and the staff are lovely and accommodating. I feel welcome every time - thank you for all the wonderful food you make and for the warm atmosphere you welcome your customers with, its like eating at home :)

3 /5 Sofia Garcia: Got to have dinner here tonight with a friend. The food is nice, nothing to write home about, but honestly not bad. However… the staff was very blasé and uninterested. After waiting for a “while” (much longer than any other restaurant I’ve been to, and I’ve had my large share of dining out), we had to keep calling someone to come and take our orders. After we ordered, tap water came to the table and the waitress giving us the water spilled quite a bit on my leg, didn’t even apologise. It’s not particularly warm anymore (ha), but I didn’t appreciate it either way. After we ate, we kept looking for, again, anyone who’d come to give us the bill and, again, it was a long wait. I don’t know if the staff was eager to just finish work (two young girls) and leave, but it didn’t feel professional.

5 /5 róisín: soooo tasty!! i got the tofu bun bowl and they did not skimp on the tofu (rare). the veg dumplings were also tasty and the pho got good reviews also. would return to try some bahn mi!!

1 /5 Arthur Ruzhanskyy: Do not eat here. It was absolutely terrible and overpriced. First, they didn’t bring me what I ordered, and when the food finally arrived, it was awful. I only had a couple of bites, yet when we got home, we ended up with food poisoning
