Kiran Nisar Absolutely outstanding – Megan made the night unforgettable This was my third time coming to The Griffin at Kingston, and somehow it just keeps getting better. I brought my friend here for his birthday and it was honestly incredible from start to finish. Megan was absolutely wonderful — so sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. The service was perfect and made the whole evening feel special and relaxed. You can really tell when someone cares, and Megan truly does. Now the food… WOW. The vegan options here are out of this world. We had the mushroom kebab and the Christmas kebab, and both were spectacular — deeply flavourful, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best vegan food I’ve had anywhere. Just absolutely delicious. And the cake! The raspberry vegan cake was unreal. Even my friend, who isn’t vegan, absolutely loved it — which says everything. He was genuinely blown away by how good everything was. The atmosphere, the service, the food — everything was spot on. This place is a total gem, and I’ll be coming back again and again. Huge thank you to Megan and the whole team for such a memorable night. Highly, highly recommend.

Jasmine Purell So happy it’s open again! My favourite place in Southampton. Delicious food, lush coffee and great selection of fresh bakes. Love the layout, can either sit at the table for brunch or sit on the sofas for a morning coffee. Staff are really friendly with fast service too ❤️

Talia R-K Super flavorful Bangladeshi food! we were asked vegetarian or meat and then we were brought a gorgeous thali of four different curries all of which were delicious! Next time I’ll make sure to get both veggie and meat. Everything was fantastic!

Patrick Collins Just visited Paper duck for lunch and it was very nice. Very friendly staff The lady was very smiley and happy, a great team all round. Nothing was too much trouble, food was put out quickly, it was hot and fresh and plenty too chose from Cake jelly and ice cream for pudding. Cant wait to try the evening. Will definitely be back.

Richard G A truly excellent food experience. Dishes are lovingly and expertly prepared. Theres a home cooked feel to the dishes yet theres also sophistication. Me is change frequently, The ingredients were seasonal. Definitely worth coming back many times over
