5 /5 Nicola Carter: Had a lovely family gathering for my husband’s 70th birthday last night. Food was good, took a little time to take mains order, but they were so busy full to the hilt with customers, so it was to be expected. The staff as always were polite and respectful, especially as we had a disabled guest with us, too. They were patient as she struggled to get out of her seat, only clearing the table as we all left . Thankyou Jewels for making my husband’s birthday enjoyable.

2 /5 Andy F: This was the first and unfortunately the last time I’ll be ordering from Jewels. I had a chicken Madras which, if I’m honest, tasted no different to a generic hot supermarket chicken curry. It was quite watery and lacked flavour, which was disappointing given the price, £13.95 for the curry alone. Some of the poppadoms were undercooked and ended up in the bin, which added to the frustration. On a positive note, the keema rice and naan were very nice. Overall, the food felt average at best and, for the price point, I expected much better. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer value for money, so I won’t be ordering again.

5 /5 Ben Rawles: What a fantastic find this was! It had been recommended as an Indian restaurant that does healthy options. As two of our party are doing Slimming World, we decided to give it a go. There are lots of dishes that can be made lighter and the taste seemed just the same. Great portion sizes too, for those who still have a big appetite. Really friendly staff and I would like to give a shout out to Aruba(sp?) who was "reading the room" every couple of minutes, carefully watching for requests for more drinks etc. A truly enjoyable evening, thoroughly recommend.

5 /5 mike white: Went out for dinner here last night, Im a novice when it comes to Indian food so I was abit nervous on what to try. I must say I was not disappointed, the food was incredible, and the service was great. I had l Lamb Labada, my wife had a Korma. Will definitely be returning and trying more of the menu. Parking outside can get busy, as it does in the restaurant. Very Modern feeling restaurant which was very clean with a great atmosphere. Facilities were also good and clean. Make sure you book in advance
