Phil Meyers Lovely little spot for breakfast/brunch. Everything we ate was of a really high quality, particularly the eggs Benedict that was on really thick, fluffy bread with a perfect hollandaise. The chef walked into the bar area and I was tempted to give him a hug it was so good. Because its such a high ceiling, the atmosphere was lacking a little bit, could do with some background noise, but other than that, super friendly and a new favourite to add to the list.

K Toscano Amazing food and atmosphere. I had the set menu and they were so accommodating to me being coeliac, offering alternatives for anything I couldn’t have and very aware to use different utensils and pans for everything (they do this anyway so very reassuring). The food was unbelievable, I would definitely recommend the tortilla! Only bit of feedback I have is that the sangria was ever so slightly too sweet (think it was made with sprite rather than lemonade and it made it an overly sweet). But overall great atmosphere, staff and most importantly food

Autumn Y Youre directed to a check in area upon arrival where you can drop off your stuff in a locker (free). Youll need to hand in your ID at that time to get a visitors pass. Following that, you make your way into the prison. Youll have to remove jackets/jewelry/extras, go through a metal detector, and get a pat down. Youre then led into the restaurant. Youll be sat, given time to look over the menu, and ask questions if needed. The environment itself looks like one of a regular restaurant, with the exception of plastic cutlery. The staff were partly in training when I was there, so they were decently chatty and eager to help with anything. They did try to upsell a decent amount, but that is probably in part to the training bit, in terms of learning how to work that in more flawlessly. Ordered a pork chop that came with soba noodles and a smashed cucumber salad. The food tasted good overall. They have their regular desserts as well as ones that are made by the inmates there (separate menu for these). So ask to see what those are to support them if youd like. When leaving, you will need to be escorted, so just be sure to ask for your host before you head out.

Ashraf Ali Had a fantastic experience at Elvet Steakhouse. The food was absolutely excellent – the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The presentation of the dishes was also very impressive and you can really see the care that goes into the food. A special mention to Tony, who looked after us brilliantly. His customer service was outstanding – very attentive, friendly and professional throughout the evening. The rest of the staff were also great and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with great food, excellent service and a very professional team. Highly recommend and definitely deserving of a 5-star review. Looking forward to visiting again!

Farhad Nikkhah Another visit this Sunday morning to the lovely Delight Kitchen at 10:30 AM. Last week on Sunday morning the place was rammed so we could not get in, but today it was 95% empty due to the inclement weather. As I had only a bowl of salad the previous night, I went for the poached eggs, bacon, sausage, beans and chips. Was lovely, too many fries for me, and went down a treat with the helping of HP sauce and a cappuccino. Those accompanying me had the lovely Menemen, which you can order to be not spicy hot, medium or none spicy, comes with sourdough bread. Very clean, very fresh and great service with beautiful smiles all around. Can’t ask for more!

Dario Ferro Excellent Italian restaurant in Canterbury. The dishes are absolutely delicious, prepared with the best ingredients sourced directly from Italy. The staff is very kind, helpful, and thoroughly professional. Highly recommended.
