2 /5 Charlie P: I don’t normally have to leave bad reviews about food but I have to say we really were not impressed. Aperitif cocktails were ok, Negroni was a bit watery. We had the minute steak which came out cold, over cooked and under seasoned. For the price it wasn’t great. We had the beetroot salad which was generous but average. Pork belly bites were probably the only good thing, however needed more seasoning and the dipping sauce accompanying it was mid. Then we had these mushroom croquettes which were so heavily covered in oil, they were also tiny small balls and massively underwhelming - felt like I swallowed a jug of oil.
The star of the show was supposed to be this Pan fried cod in an almond sauce, however The cod was completely overcooked, resembling overcooked chicken. Sauce was ok, but pretty bland. Tapas should be simple but tasty, considering the price and I’m afraid It just didn’t make the cut. Won’t be heading back anytime soon for the food.
