5 /5 Rachel Tsang: Came here quite late on a rainy day. Staff were very friendly and patient with our wet jackets, service was great, food fantastic and environment very peaceful. We had a pasta each, they were of high quality. Would definitely revisit in the future!

5 /5 Mario Carrino: We came here for a work dinner and ended up having a genuinely lovely evening. We started with a dry meat and cheese board and a burrata that was fresh and creamy. For the mains, we tried a few different dishes: the rigatoni with saffron, the linguine with crab, and the highlight of the night—the traditional Sardinian fregola with seafood. That one really stood out. We shared a mixed grill for the secondo and finished with a classic tiramisu. As good as the food was, the atmosphere is what really makes the place special. The room feels cosy and warm, with an understated elegance that makes you want to settle in. We loved the paintings, the furniture, and the shelves full of books—it gives the restaurant a personality rather than just a décor theme. Even the table setup felt thoughtful and refined. The prices are slightly higher than your average restaurant, but it genuinely feels justified. The quality of the food, the wine selection, the presentation, and the overall atmosphere make it worth it. A place you’d happily return to for a relaxed but refined evening.

5 /5 Andrew Davies: After trying several Italian restaurants near Liverpool Street, La Tagliata stands out. Charming and intimate rooms. The food feels genuinely authentic, not just modern Italian branding. The beef fillet tagliata was cooked perfectly; and the slow-cooked ragu had a real depth of flavour. What makes areal difference is the atmosphere. Calm, elegant and professional. You can actually enjoy your conversation without noise or chaos or feeling rushed. A proper Italian dining experience in the city. Not the cheapest option around but definitely one of the best. Bravo team!

5 /5 Maria luisa Tanasie: Delicious restaurant! The pumpkin ravioli with Gorgonzola were amazing, full of flavour. The lamb was tender and cooked to perfection. Tiramisu the best! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were friendly, and there was a nice selection of wines. I really recommend this place!

High-quality ingredients, fresh pasta and proper Italian cooking. One of the best Italian restaurants in the Liverpool/Spitalfields area
