5 /5 Joshua van Es: Came over on the latest 8pm ferry only to find out that every single restaurant on the whole island closes their kitchens by 8pm, despite them all listing their opening hours until 10 or 11pm. Came here and the manager was so kind and offered to cook us dinner despite the kitchen being closed. Lovely people! The view is incredible too!

5 /5 Anne-Marie Tuck: Straightforward hot food served quickly and politely by friendly staff with amazing views. Everything about our meals were as expected for the price and enjoyed with an unbeatable view of Colwell Bay. We had scampi, southern fried chicken burger and kids sausage and chips. Puddings were good too. Isle of Wight beers were available in bottles.

5 /5 Maureen Sutton: Lovely little bar and restaurant, which is a long-standing family run business. It has plenty of outdoor seating set above the beach, with beautiful views over the Solent. The Longbeach offers a range of basic meals Burgers, Scampi... something with chips or lovely fresh salads; crab, ham, cheese, etc....at very reasonable prices. It is well worth popping in with friends and family and enjoying beautiful sea views across the Solent. Many locals use the Long Beach Bar, which tells you its valued by locals and holidaymakers alike. The toilets, kitchen and bar are well maintained with a good hygiene standard. Colwell Beach is great for swimming for all the family.

5 /5 Sarah Goodwin: Nice little restaurant/bar over looking Colwell Bay. Your English favourites are served here; burger, fish, sausage, chips, jacket and ploughmans. Visited a couple if times for food or drinks at sunset, never had trouble getting a seat, but I suspect that might have been owing to the poor weather. Having said that, if its a nice day, there is plenty of outdoor seating. Service is fast, portions are good, staff are friendly. Nothing fancy about it, so very family friendly. It had a holiday camp lounge feel about it with the layout and furniture. There is a family room with a pool table and one small sit down arcade type game.
