Chi Man Chan ​If youre in Deptford, you absolutely have to try this place! My first experience with Caribbean food at this restaurant was incredibly impressive.
The Food: Authentic & Great Value
I tried the Oxtail and Curry Goat for the first time, and both were outstanding. The flavors were deep and perfectly soaked into the meat, which had a great texture—tender but still with a satisfying "bite." Everything felt very fresh and clean, and the portions offered amazing value for money.
​Atmosphere & Service: Friendly & Professional
The staff were very friendly and patient, making me feel welcome as a first-timer. I also noticed that the kitchen was very clean and organized, which is always reassuring. Even on a Tuesday afternoon, there were many young locals waiting for their food, which gave me the confidence that this is a true neighborhood favorite.
Coming to Deptford, you must try the famous Caribbean cuisine, and I truly believe the food here is as authentic as it gets—just like in Jamaica. Highly recommended!
