3 /5 Georgie: The staff were friendly and the starters and glazed carrots were very tasty. We got the cut to order steak that was recommended to us by the waiter. However, to our surprise the steak was chewy!!! I cannot for the life of me imagine how other people think these steaks are amazing. You can get a tender steak at most steak restaurants in London so it’s not rocket science but unfortunately not here.

We went there to break our fast, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared — we truly enjoyed every bite. The service was on point the entire time. They were attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. It made the whole experience feel so special and relaxing. We honestly don’t have a single complaint. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Andre Adu WA: Went to Macellaio with my partner for a dinner date, and I must admit that I’ve had an amazing experience. The food was always delicious, every dish from starters to dessert were absolutely spot on, and the steak was better than at many other venues I’ve visited that are known to be considered the best in town. However what stood out the most was the service given to us from the manager, always very attentive, always concerned if the food was to our liking, and very joyous to talk to, his recommendations were spot on, and I must admit the pairing wine was just perfect to go with the food. Overall I’ll definitely visit again, hopefully this time with some of my friends so they can also be aware of this gem!

5 /5 Arian Amiri: The Fiorentina steak was absolutely brilliant, tender, juicy and full of rich beefy flavour! The outside had a deep caramelised crust from the high heat while the inside stayed soft and perfectly pink! The pepper sauce elevated it even further and paired perfectly with the steak.
