5 /5 Atiq Rehman: Must try place! I never knew about this place. As you walk past, you dont get to see much but this place was recommended to me and the food was so good! The two meat option portion is more than generous. Tasty black bean sauce adds that something extra! They have indoor seating as well and Ill definitely be coming back. Thanks for the friendly service as well.

5 /5 Seys: Got the salt & pepper crispy chicken & shrimp noodles. No word of a doubt on how amazing it was, I did order at such traffic hours food came piping hot, didn’t lose its crunch & was packed with full of flavour. Highly recommend, will definitely come back for more.

5 /5 William: I have been to endless Chinese reataurants all over the world.. But this hidden gem somehow has the best tasting chinese restaurant food I have ever had! The best part, its great portion sizes! The atmosphere is really cosy and comfortable. The service is super friendly as well.

5 /5 Math: I’ll preface this by saying, I don’t even write reviews. Ever. However, this was worth the exception. I was traveling on holiday from New York to London. So, not to sound pretentious, but NYC is a Mecca when it comes to good Thai. We have authentic northern style Thai, and also the more Americanized versions. I’ve had some of the best Thai from best the city has to offer. I say all that to say, Makimayo legitimately has the Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Hands down. Is it the traditional pad Thai im sure you’ve come to know and love? No. However, the sauce mixed with the noodles? Incredible. This seems like it is owned by a sweet older lady, so that also adds to their rating. She did not hesitate to continuously refill my glass of water, and she always asked if the food was good or if I need anything else. The food was delicious yes, but the service was above and beyond. Plus the portions were huge, as you can tell by my plate. Also, the chicken kaarage? Piping hot and crispy. Really big chunks of well seasoned dark meat. Another fantastic dish here. If you’re ever in the area or even want to get some great Asian food before you go? Take a trip here. I did, twice, within my week’s stay. TL;DR: get the pad thai.
