Manzis - (Near Westminster, South East)

5 /5 Supersupergirl: Manzis in Soho is a hidden gem with ocean-themed decor, crab salt pepper shakers and British local seafood dishes. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for Soho and they have some dishes like soup and pasta from Brasserie Zedel as they are part of the same group. Overall, it was lush when spot on but found them inconsistent hence havent been recently. I dined here last year when they recently opened. The highlight is the fish and chip burger. When the fish was perfect, ie coating, moist delicate fish and fresh fluffy crisp pale chips, the whole thing was insane. The tartar sauce and pink onions were so good. Another time the brine was too strong so it was salty lacking the taste of fresh fish which led to it burning the batter quicker. The colour of the batter of the second and third visit was different to the first. The chips on the visit were done for ages before it was assembled. It was just me there but unfortunately they had a party upstairs so kitchen was understaffed. The butter chicken they serve is unique as you get a big piece of chicken thigh with skin.

3 /5 F: The decor was 10/10. The mermaid vibe, the shell lights, wave tiles, crab salt and pepper shakers !!! Loved all of that. The scallops were the best thing we ate. Soft, fresh and tasty. The lobster roll was a little disappointing. Not a lot of lobster packed into a very big hard bread. For what you are paying, I expected a bit more. My partner got the monkfish and was also disappointed. The sauce was okay but nothing special. The fish was tough too. The dessert however, fantastic. The honey comb ice cream was delicious. A very mixed dinner but for the money, I guess I expected a little more.

2 /5 Molly Mo: Service was abrupt and rude we did not like the service at all really lack the level the 15% service charge requires! Food was great! But every time we had interaction with our waiter it took down the pleasure to even be there. Even when he tried to salvage it and take. Further 15mins to give us a plate and not so fresh chocolate cup dor my friend celebration it was poorly delivered and again…not fresh at alll. After asking for the bill a second time we decided to go get dessert somewhere else! We should have removed the entire service charge

5 /5 Daniela Zafirova: Amazing atmosphere and food! The best mackerel in London for sure!! The portion was big and satisfying! I loved the fish plus dressed crab, salmon, prawn cocktail and crumble for dessert is to die for ! The service could be better! Thank you!
