5 /5 G Smith: The most amazing food in the local area. We came here on a whim and didn’t regret it. The food was delicious. Everything seasoned perfectly. The staff were lovely as well. Best meal we have had in a long time and very reasonably priced for the quality and the taste. Would recommend to anyone who wants an incredible meal - get yourself a table booked!

5 /5 Zoe Nolan: I had the pleasure of dining at Margo’s in Woburn this evening and was thoroughly impressed. From start to finish, it was a delightful experience. Despite it being a fairly busy Friday night with most tables taken, the service was attentive and friendly throughout. The ambience of the restaurant is another highlight — warm, relaxed, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy a leisurely meal without feeling rushed. The acoustics are good so you can have a good conversation and you won’t have to listen to the table next door. While the menu isn’t extensive, there’s a thoughtful selection of dishes on offer. Each option felt a little different from the standard fare, and everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It’s clear Margo’s takes pride in its presentation and taste. Prices were very fair for the quality of food and service. Another bonus: there’s a good-sized car park conveniently located at the back. In short, Margo’s is a gem in Woburn — perfect for a relaxed but high-quality dinner out. We have booked our return visit!

5 /5 Lisa: Margos has been on my hit list since it opened, and Sunday lunch absolutely didn’t disappoint. The lamb shoulder was perfectly succulent, the roast potatoes were fluffy on the inside and beautifully crispy on the outside, and the staff were genuinely lovely. A great atmosphere and a fantastic roast — will definitely be back.

1 /5 Pauli Machado: I have never written a negative review for anyone. I strongly believe in this exchange of energy, but unfortunately today I felt I had to — and I felt entitled to do so. This was our third time coming for breakfast. I have no complaints about the taste of the food or the coffee, but we decided to come again today because we believed it was worth giving it another chance. We were very poorly received by the front-of-house staff. There was a table reserved for 12.00 for another group. We arrived at 11.00 — there were four of us — and we asked whether we could simply have our breakfast before the reserved party arrived. It was only breakfast, and we explained that we would leave within 15 minutes. We were not told that it would take so long for the food to be ready; had we known, we would not have waited. On previous visits the food had been served quite quickly — it was only the service that had been dreadful. It felt as though we were doing something wrong; we were treated as though we were nothing. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place as I did today. I know it is not the venue itself, but rather the waitresses, who stand there in a group of three, showing complete disregard for customers. It was only when the manager arrived that we finally received our breakfast, after nearly 50 minutes. It was simply a chocolate croissant that was already on display for sale, and three slices of toast with cheese and bacon. The place itself is lovely and full of charm, but the bad mood of the staff is quite shocking.
